Hazelwood Integrated College is currently involved in a joint 3 year STEM programme with our partner schools Belfast High School and Dominican College (Fortwilliam). 

The main aim of the programme is to provide students with an opportunity to work collaboratively with our partner schools, by taking part in various STEM based workshops leading to accredited qualifications. Students will also have the opportunity to share and discuss ideas using the STEM Blog and STEM VLE.  

The STEM activities will provide students with an enjoyable and motivating learning experience, enabling pupils to acquire and develop Thinking Skills, Problem Solving and Communications skills. The programme will also enable students to make learning connections across STEM subjects encourage pupils to recognise the importance of STEM subjects and their relevance to the world of work and STEM careers.
